#tunes #top tier #Get Steamed #roachSo, you all were just gonna let me walk around with toilet paper stuck to my shoe and not even tell me this awesome piece actually existed.
…okay, I see how you all be.

“Gentlemen….to evil.”

It irks me more and more when I see folks trying to undermine and reconfigure our basic understanding of history, current events, science, and culture (like those saying the struggle between rebels and imperialists all through the Star Wars series should never have injected that “awful SJW rhetoric” or libertarians/Trump supporters trying to say Zappa or Jello Biafra would be “on their side”.). There have been many folks that took Crumb’s work and radically misconstrued it (especially when he tackled racial tension in a very profoundly satirical fashion.).
So, I have to really wonder how Robert would feel to know psychiatric guru Jordan B. Peterson was mentioning his work in his vain online babblings….given how Crumb felt about psychiatrists

…given his fascination with radical activists

…given his strong esteem towards radical environmentalists in particular

…given how he would give feminists their spotlight in his “Lenore Goldberg & Her Girl Commandos”

that many of the items Tumble felt was too “explicit” can be found in this album.

Ugh-they may make you sign in. Sorry.
The original “Blotto” by Atom Funway along with five (count them-five!) Steamed permutations.
Back when I was growing up, I could be a Toys R’ Us kid. I could turn on my average TV to PBS on a readily available spot on the dial and learn to count and spell with Sesame Street. I could drink cold water from a garden hose on a hot summer’s day.
I could go outside bike riding. I could set up a lemonade stand if I wanted to-or have a paper route, or mow someone’s lawn to make a few bucks-all without any harassment.
I could be at a picnic with family, neighbors, or church without anyone thinking we didn’t belong.
On Halloween, I could freely go from house to scary house at night to Trick-or-Treat for candy.
I could do my homework and then go to school easily through the front doors and sit safely in a class with a teacher who taught us about Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr. We were told in Social Studies class about kids from other nations and how they lived and wonder what it would be like to meet them.
I know this well because I lived it.
Now what really makes me deeply sick to the inner depths of my soul is what it means to be a kid today.
They are no longer Toys R’ Us kids anymore, and they never will be. Unless their family is fortunate enough to have that extra financial push to have cable or some online package, they will not be counting and spelling with Sesame Street. They can’t even drink tap water for fear of contamination.
There’s talk of some overprotective families (and those who want to sell them on to this idea-) who want to put chips in their kids to track them and know their every whereabouts whenever they should leave the house. Some have set-up cams in their child’s room to constantly eyeball their every move.
Some parents want their child diagnosed for the latest “Youthful Tendency Disorder” to take the scrutiny off of their shaky and imbalanced parenting skills, even if it means putting their child on a pill that keeps them from having wild, imaginary adventures with their stuffed tiger…and if guys like Ben Sasse get their way, teens will be drafted for a short time into military service (the way the Israelis do) to “mature them up”.
Some kids can’t have a lemonade stand, paper route, or mow a lawn without someone freaking out and calling the cops on them. The same goes with those enjoying a BBQ or picnic with family, neighbor, or church.
Halloween?-no more going door to door because of fabricated fears about perverts and razor blades or drugs in candy. So, now it is a sort of milieu control situation-an over-sanitized “Trunk-or-Treat” affair in some church parking lot before dark.
Kids have to pass through metal detectors and unfriendly armed guards before going to classes for fear that some other kid got a hold of a gun or some crazed man who should’ve never had access to a gun in the first place will come in and start going on a shooting spree. They are even told their teachers should be armed, as well. They might as well be in a high-security detention facility.
Speaking of, the chances of them meeting kids fresh from other nations is diminishing, as xenophobic hatred is on the rise. If someone’s paper’s are not in order, they are pulled by ICE, separated from their family, plopped before a judge (no matter what the age is), most likely placed in a cage with other malnourished, sick kids, and put on psychotropic meds to stop the complaining.
…and while all of this is going on, children are belittled for calling out the actions of bad coaches and the politicians around them and told to focus their fear on all of their favorite celebrities. They are told this by ignorant, hysterical freaks with delusions of grandeur fueled by fear and unproven lies they get from websites that have been infamous for a long time for being host to racism and the very rotten child pornography they claim exists elsewhere.
We need to seriously look at the mentalities of those who are doing the real damage to children all over. The ones who thrive on fear as their only motivation. The ones who twist themselves up into insane, contortive knots to defend lazy and selfish men in power. The ones who turn blind eyes to prejudice and bigotry. The ones who want continuously unquestioned scrutiny and control of every person’s actions all for the sake of some “illusion of security”. The ones who want to limit and diminish objective learning and any beneficial scientific research. The ones who think Spartanical militarism is a “way of life” and fail to see it for the culture of death that it really is. The ones who scoff at charity and rather than look to the delicate and abiding elements in life for important cues, they just want to stifle, incarcerate, and condition them, instead, into their poisoned virus-like way of thinking.
In short, now is not a good time to be growing up for any kid.

By the way: my Steamed Trunk is bustling with over 200 selections of humid bulldada and other guilty pleasures (many Tumblr deemed “too explicit”).
